About the Victorian Government project

Following two years of intensive needs analysis and product enhancements, the Victorian Government commenced roll out of Intelligent Pathways’ Eden Suite in June 2012 to centralise their environmental data and carbon management.

Streamlined data capture, consistency of data and consolidation of costs were all key drivers for the project. With 250 departments and agencies across the government, ranging in size from small groups occupying one floor in a building to large departments managing 3000 assets (e.g. schools or hospitals), finding a robust and scalable solution to meet their varying needs was also critical.

Eden Suite alleviates a huge pain point by verifying and standardising supplier data that is provided in a wide number of formats. Having one centrally managed system also removes the duplication of effort – saving time and money - and reduces the risk of errors and inconsistencies of data that can result from staff turnover.
